"Murder at Yale, the Annie Le Story"

Synopsis

On September 8, 2009, the Yale University Police Department took a missing person’s report from a roommate of Annie Le, after Annie failed to return home. An investigation began into her disappearance with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Connecticut State Police and the New Haven Police Department. The investigation moved from a missing person investigation into a possible homicide investigation, with the New Haven Police Department taking the lead in the investigation under the direction of Lisa Dadio. The body of Annie Le was discovered on September 13, hidden in a wall. Nine days after Annie was reported missing, New Haven Police arrested Raymond Clark III for her murder.

Biographical Information

Lisa M. Dadio is a retired police Lieutenant from the New Haven Police Department in Connecticut. She spent approximately 16 years in the detective division, as a detective, Sergeant and then Lieutenant, commanding the Major Crimes Unit. She spent approximately 4 years in the crime scene unit as a detective, processing over two hundred crime scenes ranging from vandalism to homicides. In addition, she is a certified law enforcement instructor for the state of Connecticut, certified to teach both recruits and sworn officers in several specialized areas. Since retiring from the police department in 2012, she has taught in higher education.
